What are the symptoms of having low blood sugar?
I don’t know why, but I have never been a fan of sugar… I rarely eat chocolate, sweets, etc. But I notice, that sometimes, when I miss lunch, I become dizzy… Or, that I can not fall asleep without eating anything. But, I don’t see this problem in anyone else in my family.
If I have low blood sugar, is that why I have to eat right before I go to sleep? I don’t know… Thoughts?

That is your body’s way of telling you it needs food. I don’t think the symptoms would be as strong in a non-diabetic. Hungry and light headed maybe a bit shaky for sure. People on insulin also break out in a sweat, feel disoriented almost like being drunk, tired, dizzy and shaky. A small snack before bed is a good idea.
Hope this Helps..

Yes low blood sugar can cause sleeplessness, nightmares, and fainting.
You don’t have to be a fan of sugar to get diabetes. You might have diabetes and not know it. Or you might have failure of the hormone that changes stored fats back into usable blood sugars again.
Do you have a super low salt diet? Salt is actually a requirement to survive, and you should be using some salt.
Are you drinking distilled water? That type of water is sometimes considered toxic – because of it’s lack of essential minerals. If you did drink distilled water, I suggest that you quit forever.
If you get dizzy, it is a symptom that you need to eat something, or drink something sweet very soon, or you might pass out due to low blood sugar levels. I suggest that you not drink a soft drink, as they are very low PH level, and not healthy. My diabetic friend suggests some sweet coffee or tea, or just add a tablespoon of sugar to a 1/2 cup of water if nothing else is available.
Good Luck!
