scientists have shown that suger in the diet has a similar opiet type effect as cocaine and heroine but obviously a very subtle version. people who are hooked will continue to buy foods they are hooked on! I believe society resists healthy food promotion because major markets have a vested interest in us all becoming sugar addicted zombies who consume far more than necessary.. can you see wall mart wanting everyone to get into salads? not a chance, the are making a killing quite litteraly

I have a few questions to ask.
There are a lot of weight loss teas out there that act as either laxatives or guarantee weight loss by increasing your metabolism etc…do you recommend any of these teas? Like Oolong (Wu-yi)or green tea (What type of green tea? Which brand is best and from which country or continent?

Also is it ok to go on a severe diet for the first two weeks and slowly reintroduce foods back, or is that just wrong altogether?

As far as I know …
As far as I know the prevailing theory of type one diabetes is that an autoimmune reaction to a virus wipes out the beta (insulin secreting cells) of the pancreas during early childhood. The person then usually has no ability to produce insulin.

There actually have been genes found to predispose type 2 diabetes, but also other factors such as diet and obesity. It is really a complex disease that a lot is still not known about. It does seem that insulin resistance plays the major role.

  22. psychetruth

    There are two types …
There are two types of diabetes. Type 1 can be genetic and the person has it from birth.

Type 2 is developed, is not genetic has been scientifically linked to too much sugar.

  23. Joyness333

    Then how do you …
Then how do you explain the fact that diabetes is genetic and does not occur from eating too much sugar?

  24. igirisuXjin

    I don’t get …
I don’t get affected by sugar at all but then again I’ve never felt the NEED to eat sugar.
I do that whole eating 4 packets of bicuits in one day thing but it never really effects me afterwards. I never have to worry about gaining weight either ’cause my body won’t let me gain weight…

  25. ramblinpete

    Wow this video …
Wow this video really puts things in proper perspective. I have read articles on the symptoms of diabetes and never fully understood it. I have a good handle on it now.
Thank you for the great, informative and easy to understand video. I am going to share this with my children.
