I know exactly how you feel. I have had diabetes for 8 years and I wear an insulin pump. It can get hard at times but just remember “live”abetic there is no “die” in our condition.

I have type 1 also i agree that we can’t have normal life whit it, am very sorry for kids with it, am 27 and i got it 1 year ago so i try to live normal life but it is hard, but i have find a way to handle it, try to think of diabetes like u don’t have it, it’s very hard to think positive all day but it works only cure that we have now is in our head our mind is that best thing we have so please try to think positive and workout every day and hope for the best.

hey i hav diabeties ive had it since i was 6 and i dont my finger much u dont need insulin to survie being diabetic if u dont eat cabohydrates thereis a cure from new zealand the companys called living cell tecnoliges they put pig cells into ur pancreas

i have diabetes …
i have diabetes type 1 since i was 11(now i am 15) and i tell u for me at least things aren’t so bad. i pork 3 times a day and have insuline shots 3. But i am a bit lucky as i exercise often and my i veryu rare have over 200.
But i leave at Greece so no one cares about me and especially the state so… i have to face it my self…

Type 1 diabetes is …
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease… you can’t catch it, and there is nothing that you can do to prevent it. The islet cells in the pancreas stop regenerating, and no insulin is able to be produced.

Um… no. Not ridiculous. I’ve been t1 diabetic for nearly 16 years. I’m 24. If you are only testing at meals, you have no idea if your corrections are right, if your basals are right, or what your overall control is like. MOST D’s test 8-12 times a day.

you get it because …
you get it because your pancreas stops creating insulin and you have extremely high blood sugars causing you to urinate often and be really thirsty. right before i was diagnosed and didn’t know i had it, i would get up twice in the night to go to the bathroom and still end up wetting the bed.

Wooooow this is so retarted! I was diagnosed with type 1 or juvenile diabetes when i was 13 and am now 14. they make such a big deal out of how everything has to be planned at 0:20 with all that shit! all u really need to bring is some glucose tablets to bring up your sugar a testing kit an eppy pen like thing and some insulin. this is really retarded
